A wholehearted celebration of the mystery, life and hope found in the nativity story has always been our motivation for creating this music. Not only that, there has been a realisation, as the music began to form, that this message isn’t only for one “tribe”, but for the whole world!
As well as our Irish Celtic sounds, there are fusions with sounds from Africa, Pakistan, Australia, Latin America, Norway, Spain, England & the USA, in a joyful mix of collaborations with some world class musicians from around the globe.
May this celebration of the birth of a baby born in poverty in the
Middle East help to open the door to discover something of the
“Good news of great joy…which will be for ALL the people.”

A fantastic 'radio edit' version of the foot-stomping 'See, Amid the Winter's Snow'' with excerpts from two other carols played on whistle, fiddle and mandolin.
It also features a spectacular set of reels by the amazing Kevin Burns (banjo, flute, whistle & uilleann pipes) joined by IONA's Dave Bainbridge on mandolin and very epic electric guitar!
